When a vehicle loan that you have with the Credit Union has been paid off, the lien release is mailed to the County Clerk’s office in which you lived when the lien was filed. You will not get any notice and nothing will be mailed to you. The next time you are at the County Clerk’s office, you will need to take your title with you and they will stamp lien released on your title.
