Effective October 1, 2003, our Federal Government, in an effort to curtail funding of terrorism, money laundering and various other illegal activities has established the United States Patriot Act (USPA). USPA now requires all financial institutions for both new and joint members to be present once an account is opened for the sole purpose of obtaining, verifying and recording vital identifying information.

Your Credit Union wants to protect you, our members, so in addition to: name, address, and date of birth, we now require:

· A Photo ID with current address

· A Social Security Card

· And an Inkless Thumbprint will be taken
